Description: Laughs and
screams abound in this dead-on parody of The Blair Witch Project
and The Evil Dead as three teens head out into the woods to
search for a lost dog and end up angering the spirit of a really old
guy with a pitchfork.
Background: This
was Ryan and Logan's first and only real attempt at writing with someone
else. John Paul Penrod lent his wit to the project and when the writing
was through, the result was a pretty fun little parody. The plan was
to film the short in one marathon weekend at JP's house but figuring
out the special effects (a bloody dog head and a raging cabin fire
for example) and finding a convenient time for all of the actors to
get together kept the Players from ever completing this project.
