Alternate Title: Blender Agenda: Revisited
(working title)
Description:
Ryan's lifelong dream of throwing a mega-successful
party is interrupted when his big bash is crashed by a swarm of blood-thirsty
household appliances. With the help of his sister Ashley, his friend
Kyle, and his mentor, the eccentric Dr. Love, Ryan must battle his
motorized nemeses and uncover the mastermind behind the attack on
his popularity.
Background: We've
been toying with a follow-up to Blender
Agenda ever since we finished the original. At first we outlined
a sequel, but because the Lazy
Bear players were graduating and going to different schools, it never
materialized. But that didn't mean Logan and Ryan forgot about it.
After doing Dr. Love Strikes Out
(considered something of a disappointment by the Lazy Bear crew),
returning to Blender Agenda seemed like a good way to get back to
the classic Lazy Bear style of comedy. By now, the idea had evolved
into a feature-length remake of the original with a stronger plot
and a full script (the short film was improvised from an outline).
So Ryan fleshed out the story and if all goes well, this summer will
see the debut of Lazy Bear Productions first feature-length film.
Expect everything you loved from the original with plenty of new gags
and twists. It should be noted that the actual title will just be
"Blender Agenda", the "The Feature Film" addendum
is for clarification purposes on this website only. Keep watching
this space for more news and info!
Runtime: around 100 minutes
